Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

1. Overview

This privacy policy explains how Saxon Bridge collects, uses and protects personal data submitted through this website or provided through direct business correspondence.

2. Data controller

Saxon Bridge is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Contact: charlie@saxonbridge.io.

3. What we collect

The enquiry form collects the contact and project information you choose to provide, including your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, website, service interest, budget range, project context and preferred timeframe. If you allow optional analytics, the site also records the page viewed, time of the view and referring website hostname. The analytics record does not contain a visitor identifier, IP address, user-agent string or advertising profile.

4. How we use it

Enquiry information is used to review and respond to potential projects, maintain a record of business correspondence, prevent misuse of the form and, where an engagement follows, manage that relationship. Optional analytics are used only to understand aggregate website use and improve the site's content and journeys.

5. Lawful basis and choice

We process business enquiries on the basis of legitimate interests in responding to requests and developing client relationships. Optional analytics operate only after you choose to allow them and can be disabled at any time through Privacy choices in the footer.

6. Storage and access

Website enquiries and optional first-party analytics are stored in the site's protected database. Access to the owner dashboard is restricted to the authorised Saxon Bridge owner through ChatGPT sign-in and an additional server-side owner check.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept only for as long as they remain relevant to the request, a potential engagement or a legal or administrative requirement. Records that are no longer required are deleted.

8. Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise a relevant right, contact charlie@saxonbridge.io.

9. Complaints

If you have a concern about how personal data is handled, contact charlie@saxonbridge.io first so it can be investigated. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Visit the ICO complaints service.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page indicates the most recent revision.
